joining Hollister, she worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company in Harrisonburg as the

Ed is
President of E.J. Tobias & Associates a safety consulting firm that provides safety
and loss control services to a wide variety of industries and public entities.
Received his formal education at Seton Hall University where he studied Chemistry and
minored in Labor Relations. For several years he was a
chemist in the surface coatings and then in the photo chemicals industry. In 1967 he entered the field of risk management.
After eleven years as a loss control representative in workers
compensation in the insurance industry, Ed accepted a position as vice president with an
international insurance brokerage firm to service selected accounts nationally. He earned his Associate in Risk Management, a nationally recognized
professional designation in 1979. In addition to
traditional loss control and safety services, he has received training in providing
environmental risk management services. He develops,
coordinates and provides instruction in the technical aspects of safety and health related
programs, including those required for State and Federal compliance. He is a member of the
Board of Directors of the Blue
Ridge Safety Association and the Board of Directors of the Augusta Safety Network and sits
on their Steering Committee.. |

Nancy has been working in the field of Occupational
Safety and Health ,Personnel, Training and Development and Organizational Development for
the past twenty five years. She most recently served as the Regional Director for the
Virginia Department of Labor and Industry, overseeing Virginia Occupational Safety and
Health Compliance, Virginia Safety and Health Consultation, Labor Law, Apprenticeship and
Boiler Safety Divisions. Prior to this she was with M&M Mars, Inc., in the positions
of Plant Personnel Manager, Training and Development Manager and Organizational
Development Manager. She was in independent contractor for Occupational Safety and Health,
assisting the New York City Housing Authority, the Department of Energy, Fossil Fuel, and
Satellite Business Systems. Currently Nancy is the principal of Ailstock and Associates,
Consulting in Occupational Safety and Health in the Textile Industry. Nancy holds an AA in
Safety and Health, a BS in Business Administration, a MLS in Legal Studies and an MS in
Human Resources and Organizational Development.

Harry worked as an
Industrial Hygiene Resource for DuPont/DTI for 19 years. He is recognized by the
Association of Professional Industrial Hygienists as a Registered Industrial Hygiene
Technologist. Educational background includes Hampton University, Lynchburg Community
College, Piedmont Community College and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Educational Resource Center with focus on Industrial Hygiene related courses that include
Noise, Exhaust, Confined Space, Respiratory Protection, Office Ergonomics and Exposure
Monitoring. Harry was Licensed by the DPOR of Virginia as an Asbestos Project Monitor. He
also has experience in doing Safety and Industrial Health Audits.

Tom retired after 14 years from Marshall s Distribution
Center in 2004 as a Senior Loss Prevention Manager with TJX Companies. He was Regional
Loss Prevention Manager 11 years for Leggett Stores. His responsibilities for both
companies included Security, Safety and Auditing. Tom started his career with the
Greensboro, NC Police Department. Tom has served as Elkin, NC Chief of Police and Roswell,
GA Director of Public Safety. He was Assistant Director of the Atlanta GA Impact Program,
a Justice Department Major Crime Prevention Program. There he designed and conducted the 1st
measurable Crime Displacement Study, later evaluated by GA Tech Mathematics Dept. as being
within +/- 5% error factor. He moved to the Valley in 1976 and was Criminal Justice
Planner for the Central Shenandoah Planning Commission before entering Corporate
Security/Safety. His planning work was recognized by the National Academy of Public
Administration, presented to U. S. Congress in hearings on the continuation of LEAA, and
selected by the State of Virginia as a Model for Criminal Justice Planning. Tom has
extensive teaching, consulting and writing experience with 5 publications. He failed at
retirement and currently is Safety Advisor for Blauch Brothers, Inc., member of the VA
Associated General Contractors Safety Steering Committee and serves on the Town of
Broadway Planning Commission. |

Sue is employed as the Accounts Manager
at Rockingham Memorial Hospital Center for Corporate Health located in Harrisonburg
, Virginia . Sue has been with RMH for
twenty-five years and has fifteen years experience in occupational health. The RMH
Center for Corporate Health is the areas only clinic devoted exclusively to the
medical treatment of injured workers, management of employment entrance exams, medical
surveillance for hazardous material exposure, drug and alcohol screening programs, as well
as wellness related programs. Sue works closely with local businesses to help them
establish drug and alcohol screening programs, blood borne pathogen employee training,
reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol supervisor training, and selecting their
workers compensation panel of physicians. She
is the coordinator for the RMH Safety Net program and co-coordinator for the RMH /
Progressive Agriculture Home and Farm Safety Day program.
