David McDaniel is the Health and Safety Manager at Reynolds Flexible Packaging in Grottoes, Virginia .  He has an Undergraduate Degree In General Studies from Western Illinois University , Macomb , IL., a Masters Degree in Management from Webster University in St. Louis , and pursuing a Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University . He is a Graduate of the Army War College and a Graduate of the Army's Installation Management course at Fort Lee , Virginia . He was previously Safety, Health, Fire Protection & Security Manager for E. I. Dupont De Nemours, &Co. Inc., in Waynesboro , Va. , where he worked for 36 Years, retiring from Dupont to start a consulting business. Retired from the Army National Guard in April 1998 as a Major General. Married to the former Dreama Sandridge of Waynesboro , Va. Past President - Waynesboro/East Augusta Chamber of Commerce President and Chairman of the Board of the Blue Ridge Safety Association. Board of Directors of the Augusta Safety Network and Member of the Board of Directors of the Shenandoah Valley Ergonomics Network

Kevin is the Blue Ridge Safety Association Vice President. Kevin is employed by Tenneco, Walker Manufacturing located in Harrisonburg , Virginia .  Kevin has been with Walker for twenty seven years and is responsible for the safety, health and environmental programs.   Walker manufactures automobile exhaust systems including muffler, pipes and catalytic converters. Kevin has also worked as a Production Supervisor and Personnel Administrator with Walker . Kevin is a James Madison University graduate and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. An active member with local safety networks, Kevin is a founding member of the Blue Ridge Safety Association.

Lara Hoke is an independent consultant with HR & Safety Solutions, specializing in developing Safety Committees, Human Resources Management tools and training. She serves as the Project Coordinator for the Blue Ridge Safety Association.  Previously she worked as the Human Resources Supervisor with responsibility for the safety program at Hollister Incorporated. Before joining Hollister, she worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company in Harrisonburg as the Human Resources Supervisor.  Lara is a Bridgewater College graduate and received her Master's Degree in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from James Madison University. An active member with local safety networks, Lara is a founding member of the Blue Ridge Safety Association.  Lara lives in Waynesboro with her husband Jeff, President of ARCAM Construction, and her daughter, Riley.

Ed is President of E.J. Tobias & Associates a safety consulting firm that provides safety and loss control services to a wide variety of industries and public entities.  Received his formal education at Seton Hall University where he studied Chemistry and minored in Labor Relations. For several years he was a chemist in the surface coatings and then in the photo chemicals industry.  In 1967 he entered the field of risk management. After eleven years as a loss control representative in workers compensation in the insurance industry, Ed accepted a position as vice president with an international insurance brokerage firm to service selected accounts nationally. He earned his Associate in Risk Management, a nationally recognized professional designation in 1979. In addition to traditional loss control and safety services, he has received training in providing environmental risk management services. He develops, coordinates and provides instruction in the technical aspects of safety and health related programs, including those required for State and Federal compliance. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Blue Ridge Safety Association and the Board of Directors of the Augusta Safety Network and sits on their Steering Committee..

Linda's work experience includes 18 years as department director of hospital-based community outreach program, focusing on health promotion and occupational health services,5 years as executive director of health care system’s foundation. Provider of customized consultation for workplace health issues. Founding board member of the Blue Ridge Safety Association, Founder of the Augusta Safety Network, (which has now evolved into the Blue Ridge Safety Association), providing safety and health education and networking opportunities for all employers in the region. Immediate past-president of the Virginia State Association of Occupational Health Nurses; also member of the local ( Central Virginia ) and national associations (CVAOHN and AAOHN), Member of the editorial review panel for the AAOHN Journal, Recipient of the AAOHN Nurse in Washington Internship award (2003). Registered Nurse, Certified Occupational Health Nurse with additional certificates in Ergonomics, Hearing Conservation and Spirometry, First Aid/Blood-borne Pathogen instructor, Instructor for health promotion topics.  Linda received her Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina - Public Health Leadership and Occupational Health Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing from Eastern Mennonite University , was a recipient of NIOSH Traineeship in Occupational Health Nursing and the Blee-Hay Scholarship for Public Health Nursing through the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Public Health (2003)

Nancy has been working in the field of Occupational Safety and Health ,Personnel, Training and Development and Organizational Development for the past twenty five years. She most recently served as the Regional Director for the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry, overseeing Virginia Occupational Safety and Health Compliance, Virginia Safety and Health Consultation, Labor Law, Apprenticeship and Boiler Safety Divisions. Prior to this she was with M&M Mars, Inc., in the positions of Plant Personnel Manager, Training and Development Manager and Organizational Development Manager. She was in independent contractor for Occupational Safety and Health, assisting the New York City Housing Authority, the Department of Energy, Fossil Fuel, and Satellite Business Systems. Currently Nancy is the principal of Ailstock and Associates, Consulting in Occupational Safety and Health in the Textile Industry. Nancy holds an AA in Safety and Health, a BS in Business Administration, a MLS in Legal Studies and an MS in Human Resources and Organizational Development.

Harry worked as an Industrial Hygiene Resource for DuPont/DTI for 19 years. He is recognized by the Association of Professional Industrial Hygienists as a Registered Industrial Hygiene Technologist. Educational background includes Hampton University, Lynchburg Community College, Piedmont Community College and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Educational Resource Center with focus on Industrial Hygiene related courses that include Noise, Exhaust, Confined Space, Respiratory Protection, Office Ergonomics and Exposure Monitoring. Harry was Licensed by the DPOR of Virginia as an Asbestos Project Monitor. He also has experience in doing Safety and Industrial Health Audits.

Sue is employed as the Accounts Manager at Rockingham Memorial Hospital Center for Corporate Health located in Harrisonburg , Virginia .  Sue has been with RMH for twenty-five years and has fifteen years experience in occupational health. The RMH Center for Corporate Health is the area’s only clinic devoted exclusively to the medical treatment of injured workers, management of employment entrance exams, medical surveillance for hazardous material exposure, drug and alcohol screening programs, as well as wellness related programs. Sue works closely with local businesses to help them establish drug and alcohol screening programs, blood borne pathogen employee training, reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol supervisor training, and selecting their workers’ compensation panel of physicians.  She is the coordinator for the RMH Safety Net program and co-coordinator for the RMH / Progressive Agriculture Home and Farm Safety Day program.
